Meet Trish Welte, Founder & Owner
Trish Welte is a longtime national political operative and advocate who has worked extensively with labor institutions, electoral and advocacy campaigns, and funders. With experience at the national, state, and local level, Trish combines this extensive background with postgraduate education in clinical social work to provide a truly holistic perspective to serve her consulting clients.
During her time on the Campaigns and Elections team at the National Education Association, Trish supported state education association leaders and staff in more than 10 states as a strategic advisor, campaign manager, trainer, and mentor. She served as a national representative and institutional funder at several state coordinating tables in this capacity, in addition to key national roles at the National Labor Table and Obama re-election campaign.
Trish has held positions on campaigns to recruit and train national party delegates; defeat SCOTUS nominations; and elect or defeat issues and candidates at all levels, from city council to President of the United States. Her current portfolio focus is on developing resources, connections, and funding strategies for donors seeking to have the most impact.
Trish is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Morris, and holds a master's degree in clinical social work from the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University, where she researched the role of social workers in policy advocacy. Trish has trained as a therapist, a yoga teacher, and a birth doula, and is expanding life coaching services to individuals in early 2024.
